The 2026 midterm elections are coming up! They’ll decide who controls Congress and the balance of power in Washington—and that will shape the laws, courts, and everyday rules that govern your kids’ world. Yet too many Americans don’t understand why midterms matter. In fact, fewer than half of eligible voters turn out to vote in the midterms, which means a small share of voters determine America’s direction for all.

Kids who understand why midterms matter grow into the kind of citizens the Founders counted on. They learn that the House is on the ballot every two years by design, that power is meant to return regularly to the voters, and that skipping the vote is a choice with real consequences.

That’s why we’re giving away The Kids Guide to the Midterm Elections for a limited time. This guide shows your kids how midterms work, why the Founders built a two-year check on power, and how the people we send to Congress can shift the balance of power—affecting taxes, schools, borders, and the country they’ll inherit.

When you order, we’ll also include The Kids Guide to Free & Fair Elections as a bonus! You just pay $1 s&p for each guide—a small price to help your kids understand America’s election process and why election integrity is so important.

As an added bonus, we’re giving you free access to the Kids Guide Online Library, featuring the “Election Day” video lesson plus dozens of other valuable lessons that teach kids about America, our rich history, and our government.
